    Critique my site please!

I just revamped a web page for an ecommerce store I run. It's been a long time coming and it's been a while since I heard any opinions on the design and what not.

I think there could still be a good amount of changes done to it but I've learned a lot just by making this site.

I think one of the main areas that could use improvements right now is the homepage. Let me know what you guys think: http://bit.ly/g1sn5t (goes to gostwear.com)

Looks pretty decent! It's pretty simple, and there's not an abundance of information (which a lot of other apparel sites do).

Keeping it this simple is good! The only thing that bothers me (but I'm being a nitpicky here), is that the dropdown menu's are different from the actual buttons. The menu font is big, while the list isn't... but thats a matter of preference really.

Also, the search engine... I almost couldn't find. I think that it's important to have the search bar apparent. Or at least make it a different color? Maybe that yellow? Or a little bigger!

    I hope that helps!

Without reading anything and clicking the link i noticed a few good things:

    1. You can clearly see what the site is about, which is good. And the type of items it sells.
    2. The effects (fades, drop down menus) are good and smooth.
One thing i noticed which started to piss me off when i looked at it for a long time is when the images change on the scrolling image bar, they would flicker. *shrugs*

    But overall i liked it

Thanks for the comments guys. I haven't noticed the flash of the banner on any computer yet but checking the site out on my ipad it is ridiculous so I will have to fix something if you are seeing that on your computers too.

The site is a heavily modified oscommerce shop.

I also agree that the search bar could be more apparent. Thanks!

I agree about the search box, but other than that, this is an excellent site. Very clear and easy to navigate. Great work!

Excellent site! I agree that a lot of apparel sites have too much information, especially on the front page. The first page of this site shows very clearly exactly what you have to offer, and the menus are very easy to navigate.
