Nicely designed, the only point that i want to make is that i think it would be better that there was no space on the right side of the website. Maybe it would be better to do a width:100% for the divs and have a full page layout, else it would be nicer if there was some even space on both sides.

I am filling up the right space by putting adverts to the shop page

I'm assuming you mostly want comments about the site design? I love the color scheme and graphics, they really complement the subject matter of coins.

The one crippling problem I see with the layout is the fixed width-- it's far too wide.

The standard coins page should have images to accompany each kit/set.

And lastly, the website is in desparate need of shopping cart functionality. The procedure to purchase anything is not usable.

Not everyone uses the same resolution as you! I am on 1024x768 and I am getting a huge horizontal scrollbar. Like Fumigator said, it's far too wide for a fixed layout.

One more thing I'd like to point out is that on your 'Subscribe to Our Newsletter' box on the right hand side, the input fields are much wider than the box itself.

    Hi thanks for the comments

about the shopping cart - my programming skills do not go that far - i hope one day I will be able to do it - do I have to use Java for that?

    abt the resolution - true
i came out with the left advert side after i designed the site and since i didnt feel like re-designing it, i had to find a way to fit them

about the field box that it doesnt fit , i have no idea why , i tested the page on the 5 main browsers and didnt see this problem and on my pc and checked it on some others, looks fine - any idea how can i rectify this problem?

I wouldn't recommend Java-- it's really not free once you get into all the framework garbage you need to make it viable. Learn PHP+MySQL or Ruby on Rails is also a popular solution-- both are typically free to learn and use.

At the very least you should learn enough PHP to handle the form yourself-- that form handler service you currently have going is just not very good at keeping your site consistent.

I'd recommend taking down the "Coming Soon" images.

Some quick thoughts on Euro coins.

Typography: Please don't use that font for everything, its hard to read when reading in large quantities. Apparently my system has Tempus Sans ITC,Segoe Print, or Segoe Script, but if you use them, use them for headers and not paragraph text.

Colors: It is very monochromatic, leaving one feeling slightly dull. I think the colors could be jazzed up a lot, there is a lot of possibility. Just look at the color of different Euro coins and bills for inspiration, I love em.

Menu: I think the menu items are a little hard to see or read. Make them bigger, bolder, and perhaps fade or remove the background for the text. Couldn't say exactly what to do, but the menu is a visitors lifeline and it should be easy to grasp.
