Oriango.com , new system of presenting search results

I would like to announce that http://www.oriango.com The first dictionary of web contents.

Oriango was created to present a new form in the system of presenting search results, making the users its only relevance. The user chooses the content that corresponds to his/her research, and the user-editor in making his/her content relevant throughout the quality of his content description.

    Technical/Content:
    - The site doesn't provide any description of what it actually is beyond "Universal Dictionary Of Web Content". Is it a search engine or what?
    - With such a simple design you should have a valid markup, don't take after google!
    - Don't use tables for layout! It is bad coding practice and for a layout like that it would be so easy to create one using divs, or even without divs
    - With the only content added being supplied by users, the directory will grow very slowly. Consider looking into a spider/search engine.
    - After you submit something, there's no confirmation message
    - If you press the button to bring up to social bookmarking buttons, the send link function, send message to editor, preview, or report error function, it expands your screen to the right. You could easily make it appear to the left so that it would not expand the window.
    - I'm not sure what the preview function is, it simply brings up a div with an icon and says "Pass the mouse"...
    - Put title attributes on the aforementioned send link function, send message to editor, preview, and report error icons.
    - The only contact form validation you have is that it causes a VBScript error
    - There should be a "Home" link at the top near "About", "FAQs", etc instead of the "back" link near the bottom
    - It says "I have read and agreed to the Terms and Privacy Policy". Where's the privacy policy?
    - Did you register the logo? You can only put the (r) symbol if you did register it.
    - The icons under the search field have an href of javascript: void(). You could easily just use a mouseover on the image, and no void(), or make clicking on the icons select the radio button next to it
    - On the "Add Content" form, the form validation doesn't tell you what you did wrong, it just does nothing

    Design:
    - When you search, the results come up below the contact form
    - I love the design, especially the graphics. They all have the same feel and make the site seem coherent
    - On the logo the words could be outlined a tad more

Wow, thats the most I've ever written on a site review. That site has lots of potential!

It looks nice, clean, and presentable. It sounds like a pretty solid idea, however I'm still a bit confused on how search results will be displayed. Does a page receive the top result simply based on alphabetical order? Other than that my only other feedback is that the english/grammar around the site is pretty weak. Especially in the about us and FAQ it would make it easier to read and understand if the sentences made sense.

Agreed. You should look into hiring a copywriter or an editor. No offence, but people take things a lot less seriously when it looks like the author is uneducated
