It's very nice, but at a quick glance I can already tell you a few things that would really help you out.

It's left aligned but you can tell it's should it center aligned. There are a bunch of reasons you should center align it anyway. Also, I would highly recommend making a leather texture for the background. The contrast of the leather and the page background just goes to remind us that the page is hugging the top left corner!

I don't think you should specify that the site is optimized for a certain resolution. The few who browse the web on resolutions smaller than that are used to scrolling to see more content, I'm sure, and you're also stating the obvious to them.

You should remove the line break that splits the copyright information, and then give more room for the links at the bottom right. Over here, on Safari 3, "Web Design" is forced to be broken into 2 lines. I'd also recommend putting up a website to link to, instead of your email.

Center aligned text on some of the pages makes sense, but you need to fix your widow lines of text.

Great job on that website, it looks great an I'm sure you're happy about how it turned out!

    Technical:
Use of flash is bulky and unnecessary. Even if you still want the slideshow/fade effect, check out a lightweight JS solution.
Uses tables for layout...this is also bulky and will make it hard to update to a new design.
    It doesn't validate either.

    Design:
    Looks great!

    Overall:
Looks good, just a few common technical issues you may want to consider for the future.
