    Review my site...

    http://www.wavehost.co.uk/

It does require javascript, and I am now making a non-javascript alternative.

All criticism is welcomed, also can you check the grammar for me please.

    Thanks.

It's a nice site, and yes the javascript feature is good, but those who disable JavaScript, and you probably saw this coming, will have absolutley no idea how to access it.

I would suggest that you create the actual website without this feature. And then for the portfolio, use this, but also have a non-javascript feature.

You're current design is good, however with the javascript popup feature it is not 800x600 friendly. A little more content would also go along way - but don't overdo it!

The layout is great looking. I like the top tabs, and the folding screen thing when you click on the tabs. Great work.

I find it lacking in graphics to be quite honest. Although you have that nice javascript 'rollout' effect on the pages I think that your site is very dull and boring and visually lacking. I'm all for simplistic 'Web 2.0' design, but this is not that. I think you need to incorporate some colour into your site with more detailed information, maybe some background examples etc. I understand that you may not have finished it completely so here are some things to at for the future of the site:

    - provide more extensive details, at the moment you only need a site that is about 300 pixels wide to make it look as though you actually have enough content to fill the space provided. Pad it out... people don't want to read much, but some information is better than none.

    - more colour! More graphics! More style! At the moment your site is a little on the boring side... other than the javascript there is nothing attractive to a potential customer and in your line of work that is one of the most important features of your personal site

    - as has been said, you need to make a non-javascript alternative for those without. You'd be surprised how many people browse with it disabled.

    - you have no basic structure... for example, a header or a footer. These aren't completely necessary, but something to tell people your company name? The site name? Your name? A name! You need something big and bold to make you stand out from the crowd and to say to potential customers "Look, I'm here, use me!". At the moment, with your site as it is, I would look elsewhere because you don't show off anything you say you know!

(Sorry for being harsh, I haven't had my tea yet this morning!)
"write it for FireFox then hack it for IE."

Thanks for that, the kind of thing I needed. I know it needs a lot more content, I mainly wanted it reviewed for the layout and design.
