    Bliss with Eternity

A little project I've been working on since a few days ago. I thought I should finally make my own website. I've tried before however I never had the motivation to complete it.

Well, I'm trying this time and so I've put it on for everybody to see what I've done so far. Any suggestions would be helpful. I've already tested it on the major screen resoultions as well as IE7, FF2 & Opera. Havn't on IE6 (because I don't have it).

Heres the URL: http://bliss.hostonmars.com/ - just temporary. Also, sorry that I didn't put a validation link up.

The host seems to take some time to load :S, thought its the middle of a thunderstorm here in Tucson (can you beleive it! Rain!)

I love the design, a lot. Very clean, simple and very Web 2.0, spot on! One thing I'd suggest you consider is your font-size because at the moment it's very small and some people may have problems reading it, so for accessibility purposes maybe you should consider making it a touch bigger.

one other thing I noticed is that when the window is shrunk smaller than 800x600 the date moves down so that it is only half in view in FF2 on Windows XP SP2. Nothing major, but some people like to browse in small windows so might be worth looking into it.

    Nice tho, very nice.

The only problem I can see is that the font is way too small.

You can set the font size in your browser.

Try resizing the text in IE7, I'll wait.

Thank you all for your input. Now that I look at it, the font size is exceptionally small.

@ahallicks: Thanks for the input! I was looking for the Web 2.0 feel, and I started getting the nagging feeling that the design was just way too simple. I've also heard about the FF2 clear bug, that it clears when the space becomes too small. I'll probably remedy this by making the title smaller.

@Jutlander: Thanks for testing it on IE6, I appreciate it. I'll look into the link which you have provided - it will help a lot.

@Ranger56: Don't worry, I'll resize the text - I've thought about adding a little JS function which increases and decreases the text size.

@Everbody: Thanks a lot for the input, I appreciate it a lot (though I do overuse this phrase a lot.

I wouldn't go so far as to say 'WAY' too small because to continue the minimalistic take on the rest of the web site you wouldn't want a very large font size to over compensate. It simply wouldn't look right. Maybe one or two pixels larger at the most would be sufficient in my opinion.

BWiz.... simple is good. Simple works, looks clean, and leads the users eye straight to the important section of the page (the content) without needing to trawl through things that simply don't need to be there.
