    Webdesign Site

Hey, just wondered what you guys think of my site:

    http://pixel-tech.net

I know that a) the bottom picture messes up a little in IE6, b) the link descriptions mess up in IE, and c) the email form doesn't work, and I'm trying to work out all those kinks. Thanks.
I'm not always the most helpful, but I'm trying :P

    Very nice.
Can't read the links at the bottom though.
You may want to set a tags to be a different colour.

PS Had a look at your portfolio - the skater site has a mistake on the calendar - it is displaying July twice.

    Not bad, not bad…
Looks a little generic and “old fashioned”, though. From a design firm I would expect something a little more extravagant to show off some of their skills right away (something like stuff on http://csszengarden.com).
Maybe this article will give you some inspiration.

    Also:
    Code:
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.1//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml11/DTD/xhtml11.dtd">
    …
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" />
Pretty useless, eh? If you’re not serving your site as real XHTML then don’t use it (or at least go back to 1.0).

    And another tip:

(should be sufficient to show my intention)

I don't know whats going on there, but i'm guessing when you hover over the link, the text on what the link is supossed to do is supossed to be displayed in the box under the nav. As you can see in this screenshot, it's a bit offset.

    hope this helps.....

Also, with that text box as mentioned above if you hover the mouse inside it the text within flickers terribly in FF2 on Windows XP SP2. Not sure if that's something you can fix, but it's terribly annoying!

Site looks good and works well with the name of 'pixel-tech' if that was your intention. If not, then I think you need to consider making your images a little more graphically enhanced? But that's personal preference. Not sure about the orange either... I've always found orange on grey difficult to master, particularly when you consider how different monitors display colours. You may find that on some monitors many of the orange aspects of the site will not be easy to read.
