    Layout review, twodayslate

How do you guys like the following layout?
    http://twodayslate.com/test/test.php

I can't decide what to do with the nav. Rounded corners, a fade or both?
The logo (future logo might have jumping arrows) looks horrible but I will work on the color scheme (posted on site).

How does it look beside those things? Do you guys like the rounded corners with the shadow and do you like the position of the items. I am going to have a sidebar soon.

Tested in IE7 and FF. IE6 has problem with rounded corners (how do you fix) and .png transparency. Anything else?

    umm...too many dead links.
no joke, the forums, when I had clicked them, they said 404 not found.

    progress: HTML: 100% > CSS: 90% > Javascript: 55% > Php:10%

Yes, you are correct when stating that, most if not all the links are dead.

    LAYOUT, not website.

Why would I put my website in a test directory?

Well, other than the fact that you offended me, I like it! I attempted to open it in IE6 because I can't update, and got told to update my browser and get with the times, man (okay I added that for emphasis). For web newbies such as me, I need it to work for IE6 otherwise I'm not going to visit it again

One fatal flaw that I can see in your web page is that I don't actually know what it's purpose is. The graphics looks very smart, and the background is nice... I like the way everything has been laid out but I don't know what the purpose is of your site and technically you should be able to put this across using a specific style.

For example, a business web site is more likely to be blocks of information and images with some example pieces of information or products as well as other such nonesense. And here I'm not talking about content, but layout and style. Something in your page needs to tell me what this is going to be about... ?? I can tell it's not about web functionality because of the nice little message I got in IE6
"write it for FireFox then hack it for IE."

    Sorry for the offense.
I am going to make a layout just for IE6 users. The one I am using now is near impossible to implement for IE6, repeating .png etc; The layout for IE6 will be very simple, like this: http://twodayslate.com/test/testIE.php Like?

The site will sorta be like myspace (hate to say that but it sorta is) but more for the geeks and such. It will have users blogs which will work almost exactly like WP but better, a forum which will have a very user friendly feel, and of course the profile pages.

Did you see the layout in any other browsers or just IE6?

Not set on the logo. Do you like it?

    Thank you very much.
