    For Review

    http://shiznit.no-ip.info/rjnall/

    been awhile since I posted a site for review...as far as I know it validates and 1 display error I know of is that it is just a hair too wide for 800x600

    on my computer at home (which has a far faster connection than here at the office) the header image seems to take forever to display so I'm curious if anyone else will have that same problem

    obviously this is the start of the site but before I get too far involved with this particular design I'd like to have your input

    if I may be so bold as to request that even if you think it's the greatest (or worst) design you've ever seen - please provide some detail...

    The header popped right up for me. Must be having a good connection night

    I guess I can toss out a few ideas.

    have you tried a border around the whole thing in #114076?

    I'm not a huge fan of the "brown" background.

    One thing I would look into doing is using an image replacement on the header. something like having the image the background of a span absolutely positioned over the text that's in the image. someting like:
    Code:
    #header {
    position: relative;
    height: ;
    width: ;
    }
    #header span {
    position: absolute;
    z-index: 2;
    top: 0;
    left: 0;
    background: url(theimage);
    }

    <div id="header">
    <h1>Remax / Realtec etc...</h1>
    <p>The address and phone number</p>
    <span></span>
    </div>
    this way your buisness and address/phone will be read by spiders, and will work fine without images on and wit out css on as well.

    The nav is a little lack luster. functional yes, but ... anyways. Maybe have the space reserved for the nav the same width as the space reserved for the featured listings. Have the ballon go out side of that. and have the buttons fill th ewhole width when hovered.

    personally, I'd add some line-height to the contents p's. not the p under the image, but the main text. I like room

    And let's see. I'd do something with the image in the header as well. maybe making the header more , um whats the word...a header(?). Like make the image that is the header a little more seperated fromt he rest. some definition you know?
    Stop making things so hard on yourself.
