MySQL Server Instance Cofig.

I'm new to MySQL.
WHile I try to install MySQL, everything is fine. But when I try to configure Instance Wizard it gave me these Errors in the last while executing.
Below are the Error Details...

1- Cannot Create Windows Service dor MySQL.Error:0
2- Apply Security Settings.Error:2017

Please help me figure out these problems. I searched MYSQL.COM but no use :s

What operating system are you installing on and do you have administrator rights?

I'm running Windows XP SP2.
I'm behind a firewall & working on a wokstation.
My boss dont want me to di this bcoz he himself is a PHP MySQL developer.
But I wanna learn these technologies that's y I'm trying to install & configure these on my machine. PLEASE HELP !!!
