Need partner for ePlace.com
I am looking for a partner to help me build ePlace.com. I am leaving my position as a VP of Technology at a major online firm to pursue this idea full-time so I am looking for a person who is extremely motivated to work with me to create a realistic and profitable online business that can support both of us full-time soon after launch.
My skills include:
- Expert experience in online marketing
- Intermediate/Expert Photoshop Design skills
- Expert XHTML Production skills
- Intermediate JavaScript skills
- Intermediate PHP skills
What I am looking for in a partner:
- Someone who figures out problems and doesn't give up
- Expert XHTML Production skills
- Expert JavaScript skills
- Expert PHP skills
I initially planned on building this site myself but realized that with an equally skilled and motivated partner it would make things so much easier. Below are details of how I envision the partnership.
My Responsibilities:
- Vendor agreements, business relationships, purchasing of anything needed
- Setup eplace.com (email, hosting, collaboration software, etc..)
- Design Site and perform all design work needed
- Collaborate on XHTML templating
- Collaborate on JavaScript coding (mostly Ajax type functionality)
- Collaborate on PHP back-end (using CakePHP framework)
Your Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on XHTML templating
- Collaborate on JavaScript coding (mostly Ajax type functionality)
- Collaborate on PHP back-end (code must use the CakePHP framework, I will help train you in the framework)
What you get:
- 40% of all profits (you will have access to all financial information directly from the source)
- 10% equity in the company (2 months after launch)
- Everything will be in writing
I understand that there are alot of lame idiots out there asking you to work for free and get a small part of the pie, that is not me. I am not a "suit-and-tie" business guy, I have experience in that field but at heart I am a coder. I have built entire web application by myself from conception to launch before and I am simply looking for someone to help me build this business because I don't want to spend 6 months doing it myself if I can complete it in 1/3 that time with a partner.
