best place to buy/refill cartridges for HP InkJet Printer

Hi again,

Does anyone have any recommendations to get the best place to buy/refill cartridges for HP InkJet Printer?

I am looking for both a colour and black cartridge.

The colour is a HP C1823g 15ml (Number 23) cartridge.
The black is a HP C6615n 14ml (Number 15) cartridge.

I would prefer not to pay £29.99 for a colour cartridge as you can imagine, so I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to how to get the cheapest and easiest ways of refilling/getting new cartridges for my Hewlett Packard Deskjet 810C (InkJet) printer.

Cheers,
Picco

I've heard that those DIY refill kits while, it works in the sense that it will put ink back in the cartridge, they started putting a little chip into the cartridges so that once it goes empty, and even if your refill it, the printer will still think it is empty.

I don't know if they still do that or what but just an FYI.

Do you have Walgreens there? That's where I take my carts.

Crikey Jerry, that was one hell of a thread bump. Thread from the dead right enough :P

I sold that HP printer, wouldn't go back to HP for printers either. Bought a Epson, good enough print quality for the limited times that I actually print and cheap-as-chips cartridges. Good times!

No Walgreens over here mate.

lol.

Still relevant I think, though.

I use refilled cartridges for my hp and epson bjut even from a nationwide franchised cartridge refiller, they never seem to last as long as the run. I expect the truth is out - however cheap something appears, you still pay somewhere.

I am save 40% on the cost but, I only get about 40% life out of them. might not even be that long.

What is the difference between the quality of a Home Inkjet Printer vs. a Home Laser Printer? What is the difference between the quality of a Home Inkjet Printer vs. a Home Color Laser Printer? Does the Laser show ink that is thicker and richer on the paper?
