since i cant think of good design
on where i put the textbox, toolbar etc...

umm well thats what makes each application you make unique from others. Placement and schemes. Otherwise thats where you put the drag and drop features to good use. Along with the alignment features.

Well base it off other programs you have on your computer. You'll notice among most programs there is a certain consitancy on how they are laid out. Just start working on something and if you want some feedback, post some screenshots of programs here.
