Slide show with text only, no image ...

Hi,

Need to write a slide show with text only, no need images.
All examples I could find are using forms / textareas for text.
Can I write a slide show just simple text without forms? How?

Thx.

that's good, but a bit complicated for just a text switcher. Kyle, with what browsers do you want this to be compatible? Do you want manual controls for the switching? (foward, back, first, last, that sort of thing...)

Yes, manual control wanted, and all browsers at best.

I am trying to avoid using form/input/text/textarea to show text since don't want CSS to control the look, which would not work on old browser versions such as NS4.

Just plain text on the background of the original document style.
