Please explain hyper transport...

I don't really understand it. :P
This CPU supports 2000 Mhz HT:

I can't find a motherboard that supports HT at 2000 Mhz.
Is the CPU saying it has 2000 Mhz HT total? Like it has 1000 Mhz per core?

HT stand for hyper transport, right? :P
