Pc slowish!

Well the most prob common n00bish topics sometimes these day's are prob about comp's be slow.. but i dunno want's up

after a week holiday i came on my pc seemed ok took a while to start up but i just thought not been on for like 3 day's but after a couple of hours on the internet i was getting rather mad... still same now the problam is not that is slow just kind of laggy so i thought it could be some spywere so i did a scan as you do found some stuff deleted it still the same firefox want im browseing in has only got like 48k VM Size upto now. so i just check my space hardy ever down to space but got 61 gb's left in my drive only reason i check my drive space my sister got on my pc and downloaded a fair few song's from limewire but that's all good!

cant really think of anything else to do?

could it be cos i have alot of programmer's runnung well not running got 50/70
processes running!

Whoa wait 50-70? Thats wayyy too many. Less than 40 is ideal a little over 40 is okay but 70? You shouldn't have that many things running. Have you done an antivirus scan? What programs did you use to scan spyware? Can you get hijackthis and run it then post the results here?
