Please help.

I am looking to provide hopefully an answer to a friend who is having problems with downloading from Rapidshare or megaupload. The download goes well for about 99% of the process, but on the very last second, and just before the transfer to his pc, the process comes to a halt.

According to him:

The problem began when I changed my modem.The connection is faster with the new modem , but downloading on RapidShare always stops at 99% and jams. This works for all downloads it remains exactly 1 second to finish, then halts.(Except for small files , which work fine)

Looks like a wireless router to me. Anyway. Is your friend using a download mananger (software)?

What's the exact make and model of the router?
Also, could you please re name this thread to something which is more descriptive than "please help"
