jkd will become famous soon enough
Have you written new stuff onto the hard drive since repartitioning? Wherever you didn't write you can retrieve the information with various programs.

Technically, I believe you can retrieve information overwritten something like 5 times via software , and beyond that (up to around 10 times) there are expensive, hardware extraction methods.

The data is still there, but it is a matter of exactly how easily accessible. There are various Windows-based tools I've used to recover information... Drive Rescue comes to mind.

First things first, stop using the hard drive. Any new temporary files or virtual memory being used can potentially overwrite important data. Install on another hard drive then search for file fragments. Try http://www.downloads.com and search for recovery software. I've used a few, but only with win98 (FAT32), so I can't really suggest any software.

thankx for your suggesstion man, well I was using "rec4all" software for recovering your data, I got it from Kazaa. One of my friend told me that it will not work when a Hard Disk has lost it partitions. anyways , I will always recommened you that not to use any Operating System when you are not fimiliar with it.
