border left not appearing

I can see the white right hand border in IE but not in FF. Anyone spot the problem?

border does count for overall width. And why on earth are you using a bunch of divs for your navigation? A navigation is usually a list of links, use an ordered or unordered list.

I can see that the div width is too wide, however this adds a border to div#sidebody{ and if (as it doesn't) the sidebody doesn't flow to the bottom to line up with the mainbody this will look odd.


why on earth are you using a bunch of divs for your navigation? Probably because I wasn't sure how best to do this so I look at some tutorials online and this was what I came back with. Unless you can tell me that this method is going to cause problems, I'll stick with it for now, but will bear this is mind for future projects.
