Access database limitations?

Hi,

I would like to use Macromedia Dreamweaver with Access to build a web-board.
In my wildest dreams i expect 1500 different visitors every day, with no more than 50 concurrent ones.
What are the limitations i will suffer from if i build this site on an access database (compared to MSDE for example).
BTW - the reason i would like to use Access is two fold:

1. Easier to develop
2. Can use plenty of out of the box free stuff.

What are your thoughts?

Regards,
Xibi

im not %100 but one of my old teachers used to complain about access because after the database hits about 1gig it constantly crashes your site,

but 1gig is a big DB and i dont know if you will reach that.

thats the only thing i know about access that is a fault but im sure everyone else here has alot more.

Even though M$ says you can have up to 250 simultaneous users, I choose not to use Access if I would have anywhere more than 25 simultaneous users (and I even that's too much). You could use it with MySQL if MSSQL or MSDE are not an option.

But IMO, if you plan on having that many users, I would consider something other than Access.
