god damn it, i've got ImTOO WMA to MP3 converter and i'm trying to convert AAC audio to MP3 but it doesnt really work. Some tracks it works 100%, but some are cut of 60-70% the way through.
Does anyone know of a good freeware that will convert AAC -> MP3 correctly?
http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm though its mp3 encoder is a trial version however I think if you have Nero or some mp3 burning software the mp3 encoder might still work once the trial is up.

Yes it does accept aac. You need to download the codec for it. It doesn't come installed with the software. http://www.dbpoweramp.com/codec-central.htm I'm wondering if the blue file names are files that have been converted by your other program or something.

I converted all the .aac files to .mp3 and what is happening is that the some of the converted mp3s are cutting off before the end of the track.
I know this because when i open the .aac (original file) in RealPlayer it plays to the end fine.
I am wondering if the files have 'DRM' protection on them as some of the 'protected' files that i have ripped with WMP into .wma are also blue in colour.
So is it the case if there is DRM file protection on the file then it cannot be converted into another format?
