Looking to hire PhP programmer to make Text/Turn Based Game

Greetings,
My name is Robert Lee and I am the project leader over at Etherea: Dark Genesis (a mythical/fantasy MMORPG in development by an indie team of about 30 people just looking to create a great game for the fun of it and resume building experience).

Anyway, we are looking to create a text based/turn based game much like Dark Throne, www.darkthrone.com, but Etherea themed and we are all to busy working on EDG the 3d MMORPG to work on the text based/turn based game. The goal is to create a text/turn based game like DT, pvp based, that our community members can play while waiting for the MMORPG as well as getting more people interested in Etherea and eventually Etherea: Dark Genesis for when it hits beta.

I'm not sure if the project can be done with just one programmer but hopefully only one or two. My budget is not vast but I am willing to pay.

If you can do such coding and are interested in the project please email me at Vesuvius@etherea-dg.com and let me know if you can do the project, if you alone can do it or if you'll need another person to help you, how long you think it'll take you to do, and how much you can do it for(looking more at a total cost than an hourly wage, I understand that the cost may vary depending on road bumps but a ball park figure please). Please email me with the lowest amount you can do it for so I can pick properly from the people that apply for the job. Also if you are willing to take future revenue from the MMORPG or ads on the text game site as part of the payment (which would result in a larger sum) please let me know, I'm willing to put everything in writing so you cannot get screwed on the deal.

I dont know what you class as a "vast" budget but I would be willing to work on this with my development team for $8000 - $12,000 depending on exact requirements.

I'm afraid that is much higher than I was hoping it would cost. However if that is the kind of price range I'm looking at you can lock the post for now and I won't insult anyone with a request for a good bit lower.

I may approach the text game after EDG the MMORPG is fully developed and launched, thus needing no more money and hopefully brining in revenue. As of right now my "thousands" are being poured into the MMORPG.

I will leave this thread open to allow others to contact you. Im sure you will find someone who will do it cheaper but you usually get what you pay for with these things.
