div alignment

Hi everybody, I'm new here.

I need a little help. I have a problem, and I am pretty sure it's a simple thing that I just don't understand, or I'm not seeing.

Basically, I've got a simple little wordpress site running, and the sidebar div is aligning at the bottom of the container div instead of the top. It's only doing it in IE, which is why I haven't noticed it for so long.

I've been through the stickies here, and a dozen other sites on div alignment, and tried a million things, and I just can't get it to work right.

EDIT: Nevermind, I figured it out. The problem was that the max-width attribute isn't supported in IE, so some images were too big for their divs, which screwed everything up. The solution is to pay attention to the size of the images.

Thanks.
