Question Show HTML on a website

I'm making a website for my guild on the website neopets.com. I'm trying to show the code for something so people can copy and paste it somewhere else. I found somewhere how to do it, but it messed up the layout of the page when I tried it.

http://www.freewebs.com/lordofthedraiks/contribute.htm

That's the website. Please help me. (If you want to see what they layout is supposed to be - click on "Home" under links) Are there other ways to show html on a page? Also, any other suggestions for my site are welcome.

Thanks so much!
