Exclamation Flash and a Database

Hey again!

I searched around the forums first (as all lurkers should) and still haven't found anything pertaining to the gap in my knowledge. Basically what I want to do is mimic what's being done on my main website:
Digishroom Html and have it use the same database (slightly different layout) to put it in flash:Digishroom Flash. I need to know what I need to read, and what I need to know to be able to do said tasks.

All I'm asking is for a couple of link or some genuine knowledge on the subject, thanks!

(On my main site I have the news section, basically it's: title, date, user image, rant, signature (ie: yono))

I want to have a flash version of my site, yes, but I want it in a different layout. I still want to use the same database, so I only have to update those once, then have it update in both the html section of my site, and the flash version of my site (since they would both be using the same database anyhow).
