Hey, everyone. O'Reilly.com is hosting another Open Source Convention July 22-26. This time I will be there, helping to promote my book and other books in the Sams Developer series.
If anyone lives in the San Diego area, I need some help getting from my motel in San Ysidro to the convention that week... I don't care if you're a local that gives me transit info for buses down there, or if you offer me a ride that way each day. I just need some help in the local area.

barg, I can't drive, I am going to be out of town, but I can look up information on public transportation. But be warned, SoCal has very bad public transportation...

Already thought of all that, justame. Just couldn't stomach hotel rooms for $180/night + $20/person, even split 4 ways.

http://www.sdcommute.com/index.asp is the best place to look. If you can get into downtown the trolley system works well, but getting there can be slow...
