Design Review

This is a very rough draft. The bar on the left will be for the navigation.

I KNOW I NEED TO:

I need to work on / make a header.

and stuff

harbingerOTV will become famous soon enough
overall I think it looks like it has potential. A couple things. The indent on the paragraphs seems a little much. maybe half that far or less would look better. The drop shadow on the navigation seems a liitle strong. Knock it down a peg and see how it looks. what are you going to do with the bottom of the navigation? Are you going to keep it squared f\off like that or round it like the top?

I know the indents are too big, I just pressed tab.

I dont know which one looks better, as I have no eye for design. At all.

I agree with Harbinger about the drop shadows and text-indent..

Personally I'd also add slightly more space between the title and the paragraph. I like to give my headers rooms to breathe. You might also want to consider adding a date/time of posting.
Do you really want the Read More link in the center like that? I think they do better either on the left or right edge.

The last thing would be the ////// lines on the background. Implemented quite nicely on the middle of the site, once it drops off to the body background, I think it contrasts a bit too much. Try playing around with the color, either a dark gray, or a color closer to the background itself might not stick out as much. You don't want it to draw attention from the content, after all.
