Video card options for dual LCDs

I've not paid attention to the hardware market for quite a while now so I'm sort of at a loss for my video card purchase.

I'm building a new Linux workstation, and I've purchased 2 17" LCD monitors which I'm hoping to run in tandem.

Has anyone got any recommendations for a video card?

As this is workstation will not be used for games, it's for programming, it need not be a very expensive one. I'm actually hoping that someone can recommend an AGP 8x card for the job.

Requirements are it has to be AGP, and needs drivers for Linux.

firepages will become famous soon enough
You mean running both screens of the same card ? expect issues , or a lot of tweaking of the xorg.conf , I always use 2 cards 1x AGP + a PCI , I did get twinhead happening with an ATI Radeon 9200 on Xandros but on Fedora I have to use another PCI card before dual monitors work properly for me.

I think the distro you use is as important as anything , Fedora always gives me issues with anything other than basic config (it can detect all the adapters but enabling them does not always work)
Xandros (debian based) is almost as easy as win32 though you cant move your monitor arrangement without playing with the xorg.conf (easier to physically move the monitors ) , Ubuntu (also Debian based) is just as good , that tells me something , though I have never had much luck with an out of the box deb ian solution?

MVC is the current buzz in web application architectures. It comes from event-driven desktop application design and doesn't fit into web application design very well. But luckily nobody really knows what MVC means, so we can call our presentation layer separation mechanism MVC and move on. (Rasmus Lerdorf)

Well there are dual dvi-d cards out there, although I had pretty well came to that conclusion. Hopefully finding a PCI card with DVI-D won't be too hard.
