xHTML and CSS

Recently, I made a blog template/layout for pLog. I have been using FireFox while making it, and it has been working fine. Then, this morning when I got on here, and wanted to make sure that it was looking alright in IE also, I found out it isn't. The right side "column" gets pushed down below any "posts" on the main page. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I believe that it might have something to do with "display: inline;" or something similar, but I cannot get it to work.

I know this is my first post here, and I might not have a lot of "respect".

Thanks,

Here's your sidebar definition

#sidebar {
width:247px;
margin-left:500px;
}

You could try defining margin-top
