Affiliate Program Script

Hi,

I am trying to set up a simple affiliate program on my site. I don't know if Perl/CGI is the best language.

Does anyone know of any free script I can use for this purpose?

thanks,

I understand it might not be the spirit of Coding Forums but I have seen a lot of c**p out there and I much rather promote a contributor to codingforums.com. I hope this is not an offensive proposal for some of you who are professional webmasters and probably get hundreds of thousands of dollars or so for your consultancy.

Please someone let me know, or alternatively can you recommend a good package to purchase (Corey Rudl's Affitrack is an idea, but has a price tag of 800US$+, a bit out of my budget).

thanks,

Actually, you have to find out yourself what works for you or what doesn't. You could have 100.000 uniques a day and earn only $ 10 a month. Others make $ 10.000 a week, but have to work 80 or more hours for that. Best thing to do is just start somewhere, I guess. If it doesn't work, try something else.

This is a free program.
