Help! Need to make a 3-d graph plot in Matlab

I'm a newbie here so be gentle on me.

But i've been given a question relating to matlab.

I have been asked to write a matlab programme that will graphically illustrate what the magnetic flux density (known as "B" symbollically) looks like for a cross section of a single solid conductor of radius a and current I flowing through it.

I realise that this is extremely electrically oriented

. but maybe just some guidelines on how to get started would be greatly appreciated.

Have you even attempted this or do you expect someone to do it for you? Me being an Aerospace Engineer major, know what matlab is and know that this probably an assignment. Matlab and C programming kind of go together but your problem deals mostly with Physics, once you get the basic equation it shouldn't be hard to graph it.

I understand what you mean and have done some C++ programming before. I'll give it some more effort and be back to you.
