Interesting Hidden Share Question...
I'm remotely accessing a Citrix desktop through Citrix XP on a corporate LAN. The server is Windows 2000 (not Server Edition). The PC I'm accessing it on is Windows XP Pro.
Okay.
So, I remote this desktop which uses a roaming profile (which copies the profile locally to the server temporarily, until I log out), and then access my profile, then Local Settings, and then Temporary Internet Files. I see tons of cookies and all sorts of Internet files.
Now, when I access the server desktop through the hidden share: \\server\c$ and log in as the administrator, and go to the same profile, and the same Temporary Internet Files, I don't see anything but the folders and desktop.ini.
I am a system administrator, with more rights than God, and I still can't see the same stuff unless I'm actually remoted into the server... does anyone have any idea why this is so? I dare you all to test it out...
Any possible answers, please, would be very appreciated. It's just an inquiry.
