If designed correctly, the person who gets stuck with it can't close the browser window without having to shut down the browser...

An unstoppable alert will do the same thing, but can only stop it by restarting the OS.

I was presented with a job offer at Tickle, www.tickle.com, and did a brief phone interview.

Tickle uses unblockable popups.

Tickle can find some other asshole to do that.
