add classiness to a table

I have a table and I want to add somethign to it so it looks nicer....
any easy way to ad rounded edges of a shaded border or nicer border then normal to a table??

now i used as the border of the table
style='border-collapse: collapse' bordercolor=#5a8ace

In short: there's no "easy" way, you'll have to resort to background images.
If you can give some more detail about the effect you want to achieve maybe we can make some suggestions. Also, you might want to search for "rounded corners" on A List Apart; besides that, you'll find a number of interesting articles about employing background images for various effects.
