Alignment Rendering Problem with Fluid CSS Layout in IE

Hello.

I've just finished coding my first fluid layout and while running it on different browsers for errors, came across a few that I really couldn't figure out. These blips are found in the IE browsers, with IE 5.0 having a bit more problem than 5.5 and 6.0.

A testing page of the layout in progress can be found here: http://www.darkfaerytale.com/services/testing/morning/

All three versions of IE have the same problem where when the content section meets the sidebar, the banner and headers won't touch like they do in all other browser (like they're suppose to). however, the text-containers ido. I have taken some screenshots to better explain...

IE 5.5: http://www.darkfaerytale.com/service...ning/ie5.5.jpg
IE 5.5: http://www.darkfaerytale.com/service...ng/ie5zoom.jpg (zoom)

Now for IE 5.0, not only does it render incorrectly as above, but doesn't display the top/bottom background before and after the text of the content, as seem in the shot below. The red is my editing to bring attention to the problematic areas.

IE 5.0: http://www.darkfaerytale.com/service...ning/ie5.0.jpg

I hope someone can tell me what the problem is and how to fix it (even browser hacks are fine). Thanks in andvance!
