Dynamic menus hidding input fields

Hello,
I'm developping a new application and there's a problem I can't solve with IE :
_ there are some nenus dynamically generated
_ there are some input Text fields placed where some of the menus can appear

As soon as a js menu being developped, it goes behind the input field - eventhought I have done some attempts like placing the menu on a div et the input on an other div with a higher value for the z-index div of the js menu ..
That didn't change anything !

It's ok with Netscape, it makes no problem
Is there any solution for IE ?

Thank you by advance
Ben

Hello,

fine, thank you for your reply ... you've been very helpfull !

Actually, the faked iFrame between the 2 divs solves the problem completely for ordinary inputs fields but not for the check box - starting form the fact that I've used the switch of the display attribute from 'block' to 'none' to display this ghost iFrame or not.

if You have any more idea, let it know to me, please ...

Good bye
Ben
