ISDN problem on Windows XP

We are trying to connect to Germany to a router there. The ISDN modem works fine if we connect to a ISP here in Iceland but it does not work when we try to connect to Germany. We can connect to Germany using another ISDN modem on a WIN98. Could it be the ISDN modem that we are having problem with or is it XP.

I had a problem with XP and an ADSL modem - when going through the network connections wizard, if you select "broadband connection" it won't work - you have to select "dial-up connection" and then put "0" for the phone number.

Might be relevant to you
