Exclamation NEEDED: 1 Web Dev/Prog project in Java/JScript/DHTML/J2EE or XHTML

Job Opp for a Complex IMG fade effect square

1- Need 9 squares (3x3 formation in a block) with each square having rounded corners.

2- Would like select individual squares to slowly fade in and out with various images and then "blend" back into basic color.

3- Would like the effect to be a complex 4 set rotation.

4- No repeat IMGs.

Thoughts- Maybe edit each rotation so that after 1st "cycle of IMGs page automatically/seamlessly advances to "new" page (without user realizing) and cont's to display for 2nd rotation, etc. for all 4 cycles (4 seperate pages) and/or...

ICING ON CAKE- ... maybe advance to a 5th page and instead of repeating the set x4 ALL over again; all IMGs (in order 1 through 9) fade into one unified larger IMG so the larger IMG has the effect that it is "cut" into 9 smaller peices .

Example of request No. 1- block w/rounded corners

JPEG 1 JPEG 2 JPEG 3
JPEG 4 JPEG 5 JPEG 6
JPEG 7 JPEG 8 JPEG 9

Example of request No. 2-

[SET 1]

Rotation 1- All blocks are i.e. blue (4-5 second delay)

Rotation 2- IMG/JPEG 2,6,8+4 fade in (clockwise w/1 second delay between) and pause for 4-5 seconds.

Rotation 3- IMG/JPEG 2,6,8+4 fade out (clockwise w/1 second delay between) and pause for 4-5 seconds.

Note: Squares that were img now are a different color (i.e. green) so now the screen looks like this...

JPEG 1(blue) JPEG 2(green) JPEG 3(blue)
JPEG 4(green) JPEG 5(blue) JPEG 6(green)
JPEG 7(blue) JPEG 8(green) JPEG 9(blue)

[SET 2]

Rotation 1- Blocks are now mixed i.e. blue and green (4-5 second delay)

Rotation 2- IMG/JPEG 1,5,9,3+7 fade in (with an "x" formation w/1 second delay between) and pause for 4-5 seconds.

Rotation 3- IMG/JPEG 1,5,9,3+7 fade out (with an "x" formation w/1 second delay between) and pause for 4-5 seconds.

Note: Squares that were img now are all the same color (i.e. green) so now the screen looks like this...

JPEG 1(green) JPEG 2(green) JPEG 3(green)
JPEG 4(green) JPEG 5(green) JPEG 6(green)
JPEG 7(green) JPEG 8(green) JPEG 9(green)

[SET 3]

Rotation 1- Blocks are again all i.e. green(4-5 second delay)

Rotation 2- IMG/JPEG 2,5,8,4+5 fade in (with an "+" formation w/1 second delay between) and pause for 4-5 seconds.

Rotation 3- IMG/JPEG 2,5,8,4+5 fade out (with an "+" formation w/1 second delay between) and pause for 4-5 seconds.

Note: Squares that were img now are all the same color (i.e. red) so now the screen looks like this...

JPEG 1(green) JPEG 2(red) JPEG 3(green)
JPEG 4(red) JPEG 5(red) JPEG 6(red)
JPEG 7(green) JPEG 8(red) JPEG 9(green)

[SET 4]

Rotation 1- Blocks are now mixed i.e. green and red (4-5 second delay)

Rotation 2- IMG/JPEG 1,3,9+7 fade in (with an "square" formation w/1 second delay between) and pause for 4-5 seconds.

Rotation 3- IMG/JPEG 1,3,9,+7 fade out (with an "square" formation w/1 second delay between) and pause for 2-3 seconds. *SEE SPECIAL NOTE*

SPECIAL Note: Squares that were img now are all the same color (i.e. red) so now the screen looks like this...

JPEG 1(red) JPEG 2(red) JPEG 3(red)
JPEG 4(red) JPEG 5(red) JPEG 6(red)
JPEG 7(red) JPEG 8(red) JPEG 9(red)

(pause for 2-3 seconds and fade back to blue for 2-3 seconds) to restart show all over again or especially would like to all fade into one larger IMG made up of the 9 squares.

Can this project be developed using Flash animation instead?
