Body on load tag using Javascript

Can anyone please tell me the syntax for combining body tags? For example if I have a tag like this <body link="#000000" vlink="#000000" alink="#000000">
and I want to put (say) <body onload= something> how do I combine the lines of code so I only have one line?
Thanks in anticipation
