To all thread starters, check your "pm" box for responses, as that's how bidders will be communicating with you mainly using. You can turn on new pm notification by going to "User CP"-> "Edit Options"-> "Receive Email Notification of New Private Messages".
To respondents, avoid replying to a thread with a short generic response like "pm sent" as much as possible. It is pointless and clutters up the screen.
To respondents, don't reply to a work request with a summary of your resume. If you're not willing to spend the time to at least read the request and respond specifically to the request, then don't reply. The Web Projects forum isn't a place to get your resume/ portfolio posted on as many threads as possible, it's for the direct, human interaction between coder and client. Members who blanket the forums with their resume replies will be treated as spammers and banned.
To all thread starters, please update your thread's prefix to "resolved", when you've found a coder for your project or partnership (or wish to terminate the request). This is so coders don't waste time bidding on an invalid project. To do this, click on the "Edit" button under the first post of the thread, then the "Go Advanced" button. You have 14 days to update your thread's title.

Before he edited his crossposted thread in the PHP forum, it said something like 'you might get paid or not. depending on the revenue'.
(but don't forget you'll get a free emailadress and the required accesrights to do your job! Heck, my employer even gives me free use of a chair, desk, computer and phone. I guess i'm one of the lucky few )
But i do get free coffee, water, thee, capuuchino etc (in plastic cups --> more ecologically because it takes less energy to clean and recycle a pile of these, then clean out a single mug) + i got a calculator with a '00' button (we use biiiiiiig numbers for our expenses account)
Sorry we don't pay. We currently don't have the funds for it. But you may however get some stuff for free. You will have all the acsses you need for the site and if you have any other sites that you want advertised we gladly would do it. All of our current admins are doing this for free. Hey i'll be happy to buy you a Coffe Mug then you can tell raf that you got a coffe mug and he didn't. HAHA Well check out our site and go to www.mygamingladder.com and click on the admin demo they give you. The admin isn't that hard but we need someone who can make PHP pages for us. We would love havin anyone willing to do this for us. This is not a major commitment. We just want someone who in their spare time would be willing to offer their expertise to help us out.

Well i saw someone posting for free work in the PHP forum and they got their post moved here so i put mine here... Geez everywhere i post some mod or someone critizizes me... what did i do?
The poster of the thread you have in mind offered those who team up with him 25% of ownership and revenue the site would make, so it isn't exactly comparable to your request. You have to understand that some people use this forum to get at projects that actually pay. Offers like yours, where it wasn't even clear from the beginning if payment is involved or not, is just a waste of time for someone who tries to earn enough to pay his bills.
