Question I'm a newbie...please!

hi guys...i really need your help....i need to know how to write javascript coding to protect the page...what i mean here is..my task is to do a username and ppassword for the system...but i don't know what is the coding...other than that, the username and the password can be change for all user. what i mean here is, various people will use this system...and each of them must have password n username to login to view the database...please...i really need your help...tq~

You need a server-side language to do a an authentication process. I'm sure you're using one because you're doing a database-driven website.

Please take time to read the Posting Guidelines. Your subject is not descriptive of your problem.
