Rather boring design -- I like that you tried a different structure model, but it could use a little more photoshop skills and a little more design technique. The typography is mediocre, and out of place -- your main focal elements ('have your say') section seems overly empty -- white space can be useful, but it is not structured well here... this is site wide. I've already become bored looking for companies and going through multiple pages to pick the company, then list the time and place... I didn't get much farther than that. You should have that all on one page with a simpler structure. Most people will have less patience than us web designers do, and I don't have anything that's keeping my attention.
The onclick that loads more menu pieces is frustrating and a little unpracticle -- difficult for users to track exactly where they've gone.
Looks like you forgot to put a doctype in, which may cause problems with rendering in browsers. You've also forgot to put 'alt' tags in there, which makes it inaccessible to handicap users, and people on palm pilots, etc. The way you embedded the flash is improper -- though, I don't think that should be flash, anyhow -- it would be much more accessible if it weren't.
Marginwidth/height and width of elements (aside from the image tags) can be done with CSS, and would work better that way. Your CSS IS valid:
Why you have two tags for it in your HTML, I'm unsure... but you could easily put the margin elements in the CSS and limit some of the junk in your html.
I'm not perfect, so don't think I'm picking on you -- but I see lots of room for improvement. However, on the plus, I think it's an elegant choice of blue and gray tone.
