Question Looking for programmers (senior project)

For a Senior Project I have choosen to research the career of a Programmer. I live in Ukiah, California and I would really like the opportunity to meet with someone in this field. I'm going into this line of work after High School, and it'd be great to see 1 on 1, what its like in your profession.

I must conduct an interview on anyone interested in helping me with this. It could be done by e-mail, but that would not be as great as actually being there.

If you live in San Francisco or anywhere north of that location and would like to do this, or are interested, you may e-mail me at

Rofl

I'm really caught by this one.
  1. I'm in Vallejo, CA -- about halfway between San Francisco and Sacramento (northeast of S.F.)
  2. I hack Mozilla chrome for a hobby
  3. On the other hand, I'm unemployed

It's not easy for me to say whether what I do in my spare time is "programming" or "scripting". It's somewhere in between.

I'm willing to help. I'm just not sure if I count.

I told him I'd meet up with him too -- maybe we can do a combo thing downtown then? Alex has some good insight... and it's way too hot in Vallejo, he needs to get away from Six Flags for a bit
