w00t! Entity references as attribute values! I'm hooked already!

Also: "there will never be two adjacent nodes of type NODE_TEXT, and there will never be empty text nodes." Goodbye, normalize()!

I have a feeling I need to change from a web developer to a Java XML-based data sharing server application developer -- and write the packages that parse DOM3. The web won't catch on to this until well past Longhorn.
