Help with editing source for wipe effect

Ok, I'm trying to this wipe effect (a page that shows up before redirecting you to the real page, like an animated intro page)

I would post on their forum, but I fear that I wont understand their answer since I need "lamens terms" type answers. Ha-Ha.

Plus the big problem is editing the source code. the html part to fit my page, but what goes where?.....tyring to follow directions given in the source code itself, but am I supposed to move part of the code and type in my stuff or leave it where it is and type in my stuff? or delete part of it?.... or am I supposed to delete the "{" ?....

I uploaded the "wipes.js" file, am I supposed to edit that too?....

I don't even know if I'm asking the right questions or if this question belongs here or should I put it the dynamic drive forum?

Yeah, I'll try that, in the meantime I found another similar thing that did work. A small "welcoming animation effect" that works on the main page , it's cute. Just hope it works with everyones browser.
