zip code library?

Hi. I'm new to programming. I'm trying to make a feature on my site where users can browse a list by zip code. like john doe just types in his zip code and it automatically give the listing for that city/zip code.

does php have a built in library or some class for this?

i would also like it so users can expand their list by typing in miles as a radius. like 200 miles for example.

thnx.

firepages will become famous soon enough
I have seen such scripts , & you can get ready-made zip-code databases though you normally have to pay for them.

try searching hotscripts.com PHP section & phpclasses.org , you will almost certainly find something there.
