Good file size of inline Flash

What's a good file size for a flash animation inline in a web page?
I'm guessing there's a point where one could be too big and interfere with loading the page.

After a lot of experimentation, we have set our threshold at
150-160k, including sound (unless streaming is employed). This
will allow almost instant loads for broadband and about 15
seconds for diaup (which is tolerable for those viewers).
