ADVICE - Music Recommendation Programme

Hey there,

So I'm a total newbie when it comes to coding - I'm not even sure if this is the right place to ask these questions...

But I have an idea I'd like to get up and running and I'm looking for some assistance.

I'd like to create a music recommendation app (with a twist). Can someone help me out with a good place to start?
I'd love to teach myself how to create this myself, but I have no idea where to start.

If you can recommend a good starting place - or even better, if you reckon you could actually help with the coding - I'd be extremely grateful!!
