Comodo Dragon not functioning correctly with search engine

Hi,

I have been using a very fast Chrome-based browser on Windows 7, and has been working pretty well. After a while, something had happened to the functionality, and it wasn't normal compared to the other browser I use, like Firefox. Specifically, it deals with the links given on Google itself; in order to proceed, the user must open the link in a new tab or window. If the link is clicked on directly, the search engine will either: refresh the page, go back to the home page, or do nothing.

What is the root of this problem and how to get around this? Usually clicking on the link directly would make the browser be able to proceed within the same tab; that is, not have to open in a new tab or window.
