Connection 2-3mm longer than Sata
I recently bought a blu ray drive off ebay and it has 2 conections on the back, one which a hard drive sata lead fits, and other the same shape as the Sata but its 2-3 mm longer, does anyone know what it is?

Exodus_AU is an unknown quantity at this point
Both are sata connectors. One you have conneected goes go your mainboard? The other eould vconnect to your power supply.

The one I was unsure about was the power lead, but the drive was for a laptop so that's why the power SATA in my PC didn't fit and why I was getting confused
